KRISTIN LANDRY
Kristin Landry has been involved with college admissions counseling for over 10 years. When her oldest son began his high school career at a newly opened public school, she immediately became involved and helped create the College & Career Center. In addition to working with students and parents on all aspects of the college admissions process, Kristin was responsible for the center's daily operation. She worked directly with school counselors, trained volunteers, and secured computers and resource books to complete the space. She also contacted hundreds of colleges and universities to promote the opening of the school and recruited college admissions representatives to meet with students. Kristin also scheduled and held monthly seminars for students and parents on various college admissions topics, and directed school-wide events and assemblies.
Kristin is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and received her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, a highly regarded designation for professionals who guide students through the college admissions process. For the past several years she has volunteered with The College Essay Guy's Matchlighters Scholarship Program as well as ScholarMatch, providing virtual guidance to high-achieving, low-income students with all aspects of the college application process. She is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), a member of Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC), and Seattle Area College Counselors (SACC). Kristin pursues ongoing professional development through attendance at annual conferences and seminars. She also visits over 20 colleges and universities each year to see a campus in person and pick up on the culture.
Kristin lives in Sammamish, Washington and is available to meet with students and families in person or virtually via Zoom, phone and email.
